Last July 1, PGO Occidental Mindoro issued Executive Order No. 69, S2020 in compliance with President Rodrigo Duterte’s statements, June 30, pertaining to quarantine status to be implemented in the Philippines.
Although the Province have been through Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) before, Gov. Ed Gadiano finds it fitting to issue said Executive Order since, aside from MGCQ, Occidental Mindoro is also classified as a “low risk” area with just four (4) active Covid-19 cases.

Some of the provisions eased restrictions compared to the previous one that addressed MGCQ.
