Occidental Mindoro Gov. Ed Gadiano has issued a revised version of Executive Order No. 56, now Executive Order No. 56-A, April 4.
Executive Order No. 56 was presented to the public on March 20, 2020 after almost three days work shop of Technical Working Group consisting of representatives from different offices and agencies.
This was followed by the issuance of Resolution No. 18, Series of 2020 by Inter-Agency Task Force For The Management Of Emerging Infectious Disease on April 1, 2020 providing “recommendations relative to the management of the corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19)”.
DILG on the other hand issued a memorandum on April 1 to ensure unhampered delivery of foods and essential goods to their destinations.
With different directives coming from the national government and other agencies, Gov. Ed Gadiano finds it appropriate to revise the previous EO 56 and have it in line with the current situation.
Gov. Ed Gadiano believes that, with the revised EO 56-A, the Provincial Government’s actions and activities will become more responsive to the needs of the community and to further protect the Province from COVID-19.
